SMALL CLASS SIZE
Our regular classes are intentionally kept small (Fewer than 10 students). Although our space can accommodate up to 40 at a time, we believe space is essential to art-making. We keep our space clean and comfortable and ask that our students do the same.
ROKU is run by artists who believe in the value of small group learning and interactions. We find joy in what we do and hope to work with anyone who wishes to learn how to see and create art.
We believe in the importance of live demonstrations to help our students learn essential techniques. Our instructors are highly skilled in a very wide range of mediums from charcoal, pastels, watercolour, acrylic and oil painting.
Our team is also well versed in Eastern and Western Art history, and incorporate ideas and themes inspired by everything from Hokusai's woodblock prints to Turner's landscapes.
While we specialise in painting and drawing, ROKU is not a traditional art academy. We believe in helping every artist find their own way in their art journey.
PREMIUM art workshops
At ROKU Atelier, we believe in providing quality classes and workshops by giving our customers all the expertise and advice they need on materials and techniques, regardless of skill level.
Our youth classes are designed for a small number of students who are passionate about visual art and see themselves as the next generation of creatives with careers in art, design, craft, illustration, architecture.
We have also designed the best possible environment for art-making, to make sure everyone who comes by feels comfortable and at home in the space.
